Feeling old.

I don't know why but it just hit me that I'm actually in University, overseas...not in Malaysia with my mom and dad and brother. I'm living independently in a foreign country. Scary. I might not ever live in Malaysia long-termly.
Maybe its the fact that if I fail anything in uni and cant retake it, I've gotta start working and earning to support myself that made me realise that I'm no longer able to slip-up. I can't make any major mistakes(like screw up uni). Some people might know what im rambling off about. It's depressing isnt it?
*sigh*
Gone are the days where I can just do whatevver i want and it won't affect anything(much anyway..)
Back to math I guess. *slaps self* At lease its not pharmacology.

I have an exam in less than 12 hours time and here I am talking to no one, typing away. Maybe its the pressure from these two guys who wanna see themselves up on a webpage. I'll let you figure that out yourselves. 
So I have my Mech 1120 - Design and the Engineering Profession finals tomorrow. According to Jude, we dont have to take the exam and we've already passed. So *whee*. On the other hand, on Tuesday i have Math 1131 - Mathematics 1A which is worth 70%. No joke. Pretty scary.
Had dinner with Danny's mom, aunt, uncle, aunt, family friend etc..at Minh Hoi(or something..I cant remember the name of the shop). Same place took the pictures of the vainpots. Was nice the food.  Worth the scary-ness I guess.
I'm gonne miss college life I guess. I'll miss the constant noise, the crazy Aussie antics(Jousting on roller chairs using their heads as lances), the fact that whenever you need some help with anything at all there's always someone there for you...But one thing i won't miss is the crappy Eurest food we get.

These days no mood to blog la. Don't know why. Nothing to blog about prolly.
Anyways, today I spent so much money. First i bought this ripcurl bag I've wanted for a while. [AUD 39.90] And then, walked around abit...Found this jacket. Damn nice...Bought it for AUD 135. *Wince*. But somehow i don't feel wince-ish. Prolly cause I'm working at Subway for AUD 10.43 an hour. Which is pretty shit compared to Coles and all those other supermarkets but it'll have to do for now I guess.
No pictures for now cause my digicam is at Alan's. Some other day perhaps.
Romien gets 450AUD a week for less than 25 hours a week. That's so unfair, no? Imagine that. If i worked my full 20 hours a week, I only get around 200AUD. *Growl*
Few days ago, I spent 50 AUD on posters. Heh. I love the posters here man. Kicks ass. How did I manage to spend so much on posters you might ask. Well...I got a Man Utd one for me, a Liverpool one for Danny and 3 posters for someone in Penang right now who is gonna buy me very cool DVDs(you know who you are) Yes yes. I got you posters. Will pass it to Suan to bring it to you or something. Not cheap you know? 
I should prolly stop spending all my "hard-earned" money on nonsense. Yes yes. Will start saving money and stuff.

I've wanted to blog about this for a while but since this is a photoblog, I didn't think I was supposed to blog about things not having to do with photos but what the heck. It's MY photoblog and I'll do what I want with it.
Sometimes I have to stop and think about what I have and how lucky I am to actually be where I am right now studying what I'm studying. Everytime I start to complain about how shitty my life is or something I should just read this post and remind myself of what I have.
It's great to be here studying something apart from Pharmacy (*shudder*), being with friends from back home, awesome clasmates and of course Danny .
So there you go. A post(reminder) for myself to stop and smell the coffee(or something like that).

Okay. I learnt a few things this weekend and i will share my new found knowledge with ALL my readers(Yes,2 can be considered a plural)
1) Single beds should be banned.
- You know how when you're sitting on the edge of the bed(the longer side) and you just flop down on your back, and the bed is right next to a very hard wall, and the bed is not very wide, something very bad happens? Yeah..i did that, except i\""""I didnt just flop down with a normal speed, it was like...fast, okay? *Bonk* Now I have a lumpy head.
2) Boys should not be allowed to merajuk(or pretend to).
- Danny was merajuking about something at Alan's. I was sitting on a chair. He pretended to kick me, I held on to his leg with my legs(dont ask me why), and he pulled back, my whole body rotated 90 degrees(For those people not taking Mechanics and don't know about rotational axis's(In layman's terms), I fell backwards). *Wham*. Kinda like how Mann Chyun fell off her chair when I was about to attack her viciously. . Now i have a sore ankle and lower back/upper butt.
So there you go.Either don't buy single beds or put them next to a wall and if you are a boy, dont merajuk. Merajuk-ing is strictly for girls! Geddit? For those un-Malaysians(If there are any), merajuk means tiao keh in hokkien, or tarik harga in malay. God damnit whats the english word for it?
Anyways, watched Van Helsing on Friday. Kinda sucked in my opinion. But of course I'm comparing it to previous movie I watched which was Troy which ROCKED!
Yesterday, tried to find a jacket cause its getting freaking cold here. Found a couple but no size. Freeeeezing. Not really la but cold enough. Of course uncomparable with Suan's UK, but still.

Okay la. I know its not considered a road trip if we go to Paramatta but screw it. We(Me, Romien and Jude) rented a car on Tuesday to go to Paramatta cause somehow coincidetally all of us had to go there for some reason. Me : Had to pick up electric toothbrush(No..not a vibrator) and birthday card from dad's friends friend, Romien : had to sign the Coles Application Form and Jude : had to check up on his car which has been in the workshop for 3 months now.
The cost of the car for 24 hours was 58 AUD for a auto toyotta corolla ascent. Sweet...
Started at around 12. Went to Supacentre, Westfield(paramatta) and then to run our errands. It was fun this mini road-trip. Been ages since we could actually get somewhere by car. Lotsa cursing between Romien and Jude about which was left and right.  *mumbles"Singaporeans"*.
Yesterday, had to go to the city to meet Aunty Khor to get some stuff off her as well. Was a fucking 1 hour late because Jude parked the rental at this Dr's spot and she refused to move her car to "teach us a lesson" i guess. Bloody mofo. If i had time, i would've done something bad to her car. Bitch.  Or maybe not. I'm a good girl. Don't these ah moh's know not to diss asians? Geez.

Whee. I love good food, heck, who doesnt? I think its the food deprivation here in Uni that makes me so incredibly happy whenever i get good food. And this weekend, it was great.
Friday took my Mechanics test. Gah sucked as usual. Also found out i got 4.5/10 for my previous mechanics test. Ah well. only 50/250 people got more than 5 anyways, so its cool.
Friday night, was supposed to go to this club called Sublime in Darling Harbour but then...I didnt feel like it Anyways, we went to this chinese restaurant called Superbowl. Awesome place. Havent had good chinese food for ages. They paid for my share and i even got the change of 4.40 back. Interesting eh? Had a great meal and got paid for it Life is good(Anthony Bourdain style)
After that, played bridge at Alan's for a while, wanted to go for some coffee but decided on Pancakes on the Rocks instead. *drool* Yummy-ness. This puki-bin waitress half-scolded us for taking the wrong order down. Macibai. Kinda pissed off but since i was eating good stuff, it didnt really matter.
JX's Theory on Girls : If they say "No lah" they actually mean "Yes!" but if they say "No', only do they mean "No". Go figure.
And Sat night, we went to Danny's aunts place for dinner. Awesome food. Hokkien mee, tau fu fa( i dunno how to spell), fried rice, bee ko moi, grilled chicken wings. *droool*
We were supposed to go to the zoo one of these days but didn't happen. As usual stuff planned rarely gets done around here. So there we go. Another weekend outta the window. It's amazing. I'm almost done with my first semester here. In no time i'll be graduating.  As if...

Birthdays.

Do you ever notice that birthdays seem to become less of a bigger deal the more you grow older? I think this was one of the less nicer birthdays. Not because my friends forgot or anything. On the contrary most people remembered which is a Good Thing(Don't ask me why the big letters on "good thing") Its only the fact that i stayed up till 5am on my birthday finishing up this stupid Pasta Bridge thing, Got glue on my hands and now it hurts, Had a math test, Got my period(the one thing i hate most in my life)
But besides all that, it wasnt that bad, no. I have a Mechanics test again this Friday which kinda sucks but I hope after that, this weekend will be a blast. *crosses fingers* Somehow, I'm not all panicky about the test this Friday(yet). No, it's not because Im prepared for it or know much about this Block-Trusses and Stuff. That isn't a good thing cause now I'm not exactly studying for it. *gah* Doesnt help that I'm trying to learn up Three Doors Down - Here Without You. Usually i just give up after a while of not getting it but this time, I'm gonna learn up the song in less than 2 weeks(Yes i suck) because when I was trying to learn it up last night(as I do many songs), Danny said "Don't try to learn the plucking part". Well what do you expect to do after that? Learn it up of course. And by the looks of it, I think i might be able to do it in less than a week! *score*!
Found out i passed my Physics 1169 mid-sesion exams.  Another Good Thing.
Ah! Jude and Romien got me this super cute Happy Tree Friends poster.

Okay. Here's what happened during much. Get ready for a boring blog. Not really in the mood right now. Don't know why though. Whatever.
Friday after uni, went to Nick's house at Maroubra Junction he had a pot luck thingy going on. We didnt bring much food or stuff lo. Feel kinda bad cause he did all the cooking and stuff. We bought like 4 bottles of soft drinks. Those big ass ones. Can't remember how many litres. Prolly 1 litre each or something. Shrug. Wah. Nick can cook man. No joke. He cooked sweet and sour pork, black pepper chicken and ham omelette. *drool* Was pretty yummy.
And then me and danny went down to the city and played CS at City Hunter for like...3 hours i think. Maybe less. Was pretty damn fun. New CS version 1.7 I think. 
Saturday morning, woke up at 930. By far so far the earliest i've gotten up on a Sat morning except for last week when i had my physics exam Went to the Fish Market. Freshiest fishes i've ever had. Spent only 5 bucks on the seafood platter cause all of us shared. Wasn't really full but it was good. Next time, I'm not gonna be so stingy and order the lobster for 20AUD. *droooool*
Then then then, we walked around, Sean bought his Ben Sherman jacket for around 150 AUD. Poor boy was "forced" to buy it. His mom "forced" him too. Then, me and Justie tried to teach Danny and Alan how to play bridge. Went to pick up pizzas from Pizza Hut. 5 AUD per person is kinda cheap lo. Usually pizza we spend like 10 AUD per meal wan. So was good. Then we played bridge. My goodness. I think it must've been the most exciting game of bridge ever. We laughed our asses off man. Danny and Alan cheated not to win but to get each other as partners. Gah...Long story but after a while it got a bit irritating lo. So whatever we stopped playing bridge and played stupid card tricks on each other. Gah. 
Today, went to Supacentre to look for a job. Applied at numerous shops. Non very excitingn though. Went to Jude's to finish up Physics lab project thingy. Fuck. Half-ran to the bus stop after meeting at 7:55(thought the bus was at  . But no, last bus was at 7:30. So malleh. Waited in the blistereing cold(not really but I've been told exagerating is a must when telling stories) for 20 minutes or so for a bloody cab which costed me 6.75AUD. Fuck man. What a waste of money.
So thats it. My boring life this boring weekend. I'm sure I put half of you to sleep and the other half just scrolled till the end to read what I'm saying now.

Why do people like to complicate things? My life now is reasonably uncomplicated. So far...Somehow complicatedness always seem to kick in after a year or two. Why? I like things the way they are now. Uncomplicatedness. Hope it'll stay like that the rest of my years in Uni. *crosses fingers*

What have I been doing? Studying the whole of last week. Feeling like shit the whole of last week. And now, just slacking around doing nothing. I need a life. I mean..I need something to do besides to go uni and fret about how i can't keep up with the work. Like..and extra-curricular thing or something.
I need some inspiration to do something. Anything.

Okay. Just got back from Jam Night at my college. Was pretty cool. I wished i could've done something though. I suck though. Maybe could've played rhythm guitar on some song or something. Ah well. Lucky college people then to not have to put up with my crappiness.
Danny played John Mayer - Your Body is a Wonderland though. I wanted to play something but couldn't learn up the bass part in time. It was awesome. Everyone played well. Well, most anyway. : This guy, who looks like a rugby player and nothing like a musician sang so beautifully. *melts* If only i can put up the video clip i took. He dueted with this other girl Come What May. Perfection I tell you!
